SC Concealed Weapons Permit Classes
The Man Alone Tactical Difference
The Man Alone Tactical approach to the SC Concealed Weapons Permit is different than most other instructors. The training day starts with four hours in the classroom in which our SLED licensed instructors presents the CWP course, reading your level of understanding. They will guide you with insights and scenarios designed to lead you to a more complete understanding of the legal aspects of gun ownership and use, as well as the complexities of the South Carolina self defense laws. We also provide insight on the SC concealed carry laws and the use of lethal force. Handgun safety is stressed throughout course.
The afternoon is spent on the Man Alone Tactical range. SLED requires the CWP applicant to pass a fifty round minimum qualification test. At Man Alone Tactical, we up that. Each of the students in our program will shoot a minimun of one hundred and fifty rounds. We start with handling and gun safety, dry firing, and build up to a practice test. Our instructors will note where students are having difficulties, and work with them to accomplish the task. We then shoot to qualify.
" Thank you for sharing your expertise in how to safely handle my pistol and for all the knowledge on how to use it and when. Before taking your CWP class and the Tactical Pistol class, I had no experience with shooting my gun and was very uncomfortable handling it. Your courses taught me everything I needed to know and more! Your teaching style was very professional on all levels yet your sense of humor made the learning fun and even more interesting. I appreciated your patience with me and the one on one attention to correct my errors. You have made me an awesome shooter and have given me the confidence I need to safely handle my weapon. I am so glad that I had the opportunity to learn from Man Alone Tactical. And thank you for helping to make this world a safer place. God bless you! ">>> Laurie - Beaufort, SC
